Is there a difference between the American iPhone 3Gs and the English iPhone 3Gs?

I want to buy an iphone 3Gs, and the american sites are way cheaper than the UK sites. The american one is about £61 sterling, but the english ones come cheapest at around £450 sterling. I was wondering wether there was a massive difference between the two iPhones, and wether or not it would alter the cost by £400.

they all come from the same place, both of the phones will have the same apps…and there wont be any difference in hardware.
you should get the one in your region just to be safe, or call you service provider…
to double check that there wont be a problem when you get your iphone out of region for cheaper.
