Does the new Iphone 3GS have the same virtual keyboard for texting as the original 3G?

The reason I disliked the iphone was because when texting the 3G it only had that small little keyboard that wouldn't turn horizontal. Does the new 3GS have the same thing, or do you have the option of turning the virtual qwerty keyboard sideways now. Anyone know that has seen the new Iphone. Let me know I'm interested.

It does have the option of turning the keyboard horizontally, BUT if you do have the original iPhone, or iPhone 3g then a new software, (3.0) was released earlier today which will allow for horizontal texting.
