You can always hit up the Top Free list in the App Store on your iPhone or iTunes store. I know the answer is a little lame but there is some pretty good ones, and for the price why not.
as long as you have an iTunes account there are lots of apps you can download for free. i agree with that other guy about the top free apps, i always go there. i never pay for apps and i always get cool ones.
